Oh, but a TD prado, 100 series or Pajero would be easier to get decent economy out of.

Last trip from Melb to Bris I got 1000km out of a 130 litres, thats mostly cruising at 120kph.
Hmmm, my wife will be driving it a bit. So I think it's safe to assume that it will be driven to precision such that the vehicle will deliver the worst fuel economy possible.

They had Espace F1's available as rentals from Hertz when I was in Europe.
[OK, maybe the F1 chassis & mechanicals had been toned-down a bit, as had the wheels & bodykit, and it had more interior, and it didn't have the stickers ... but it was still the same thing essentially]

Stupid suggestion anyway, those F1 cars weren't 4WD were they?
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

This thread is like asking "Who was the nicest Nazi" heehee

Ahh management... pissing in your shoes and then forming a committee to see why your socks are wet.

That's awesome, but if he wanted a taxi I'm sure he would have asked "What's the most fuel efficient 7 seven seater taxi on the market which doesn't actually come standard with 7 seats"

Go buy a copy of the Dog & Lemon Guide at your newsagent. Lists just about every car made (incl jap imports), how much fuel they use, how reliable they are and what breaks, how safe they are in a crash, and has pictures.

                                A cynical publication. Perfect!
