    yeah bigmuz - I'm with you on that. I've considered sending my girlfriend along to mechanics, dressing her skimpy and getting quotes. I'm sure it'd be $$$'s better than what they would quote me. Damn women with all their powers.

        Yeah I have been in the position where a mechanic thought I didn't know anything so was about to charge me twice as much. I promptly told him where to go.

          I guess that is another side to it. If they think you know zero on the subject they can add in a whole lot of crap you wouldn't ever need. Go in for a service, and hear "Sweety, you need a fanbelt, radiator hoses, firewall grommets, you're diff is gone, and your control arm bushes are stuffed. I don't wanna confuse you with all that gibberish so I'll just say its a big job. But I'll do you a good deal $4000 for the lot."

              You can fix that activity by asking them to show you which fan belt, hose etc before they actually work on the car, getting them to take the car for a drive with you and ask where the Diff Noise is, always ask if it could possibly be tyre noise and If you really don't trust them by the way they act towards you do not leave your car there!

                    Thats a good point you bring up on workto the car ,and confirming the work needed on Cars , Being in the Automotive industry my self i would rather do the right thing by the customer so they come back again for work , If you rip every person off , they dont come back and your out of a job ,due to no customers .

                        Keep them- you shouldn't need bigger than that. Little bit of fuel pressure will be okay. I have 363s with 320rwkw and it doesn't max them out. Just use a good reg like an SX. BTW 363s are the dirtiest turd munching injectors out. Stick with the sards and nismos etc- they aren't linear in their flow like 363s which means you get good low speed operation.

                          I was about to say...

                          550cc should be fine for that power level. You can go to 800cc or whatever but what's the point? Sounds like money down the tube.

                          I use a Nismo/Apex regulator and a touch of pressure is fine

                              This web page lists some sard injectors and also what they flow when you increase the fuel pressure . Not sure if your injectors are on the list ,but you would have to check the part numbers and body colour ,

                                While the motor is out make sure you have some sort of pipe to balance pressure between the head and the sump so it doesn't spew oil out the breathers when you flog the ring out of it on rev limiter for a while as some people with RBs tend to do. (me) Just a reasonable sized pipe from the head to the sump will help the pressure difference and hopefully the oil will want to drain back down instead of filling the covers with oil.

                                Basically attend to the breathing of the motor as Rbs are bad in that area when you start making HP/revs
