Is it possible to Space the Unibar out to the correct distance by using longer bolts and spacers (at the wreckers many seat belts are spaced out quite a bit so go and unbolt yourself some spacers).

The other option (I don't know how handy you are) is find replacement aluminium angle and modify unibar, (I'm not that good at aluminium welding myself) manufacturing radiator places usually have someone who can weld aluminium well....be careful as the wall thickness of tube is not much if you are going to try and weld it yourself.

Spacers and such probably aren't going to work as it will shake around too much....I think i'll just get something made up.

I agree, they will shake around, and even something you have made up will still suffer from shake as most decent spotlights have a large diameter reflector. Nudge bars(designed like the blue car in the pic.) are perfect example.....terrible for light shake without support from the back of the light.

Which ever way works best It will still also help to support them back from as high as possible on the rear(possibly through your grille) to alleviate the shake as much as possible.

Good Luck and post a pic of the completed bar and lights when your done!

The lights have the provision for a stabiliser at the top......you could rig something up with some hose clamps that have been cut.

I used the unibar on my old Pulsar with some Narva lamps. The Cibies are quite a deal bigger but don't actually weigh much more which is a bonus.

Not sure when i'll get it done......i've got shocks and a clutch to replace first

Cibie have stabiliser bars you can buy off the shelf but you would still need to modify to use on your vehicle. The issue with Round Spots is greater lever ratio compared to Narva which are ususlly rectangular.

I've nursed my clutch for six months now plan on letting it go for longer $$$$$....so I can sympathise with your plight.

as MSL says, the stays to the bonnet are essential...

dunno how you'd manage that on WRX though..
