How to dump a shell by the side of the road (nicely)

Ok, so im about to strip this piece of junk RA40 for the bits i want out of it, and im going to need to dump it by the side of the road to be picked up by a scrap metal company.

Does anyone have some suggestions onw how to do this nicely? I was thinking of pulling the gearbox/other bits in the garage and then pushing it out onto the street and taking the diff and struts and leaving it on the steelies it has on it.

Anyone have other suggestions?

Strip it completely while it is on car trailer. Back trailer up to street tree. Tie chassis to tree. Clutch dump for the win!

they (the free car wreck removal persons) do like being able to roll the car up on to the back of the tray.

but if you're removing suspension/diff then yeah, dump the chassis onto two long boards so it drags up onto the tray without ripping the road apart ... plus remove the fuel tank and leave the tow hooks on.

Hm, RA40s had fuel tank in the boot, so that should be fine. You do make a point regarding long boards. I just want to be able to get the jack out after i pull suspension.

Proper scrap metallers will have a crane on the truck, and will just chain it up and lift it.
I had a similar situation and the moron came with your standard tilt tray tow truck and then said "I cant get that, it will fuck my tray up" Im like "no shit, I told you on the phone it has no wheels"
He proceeds to sulk off, and I had to call someone else with a proper truck.

Weld some shopping trolleys lying around your street to the underside.
Tow it around for a week, make a fully hektik dorifto video including freewheeling car body.
Find a hill. Detach tow rope.

It was nowhere near Mt Druit, but it was only ther overnight, so not much time to annoy people.

We caused more agro amongst the neighbours when we had two rusty pulsars in the same spot, we would push one from the top of the hill towards the other car to see how much damage we could cause.
