RZ-nope-not street driven anymore, although I can still register it here in SA as it's never been defected (touch wood). It would need a fair bit of work to be streetable-although only extending to headlights, indicators and a passengers seat. Due to the standard nature of the motor, putting around isn't a problem, and O/D still operates. (although it only gets used on the rturn road these days:knock: )

I could really go a big nasty poopra like yours, but I can only justify 1 money pit, and the Blue Whale wouldn't recoup much capital if I sold it! Once we get racing back in SA I'll get to use it for the purpose for which it was built. (one day)

I'm not sure about the on-boost timing yet Clivey, as we didn't touch the timing maps, just trimmed the fuel maps for the change over from AVGAS (now 50/50 Martini 110 and Caltex Vortex) From memory I think it was about 20 degrees though.

Does SA not have a drag strip anymore? The Kwinana Motorplex just had their test and tune day a couple of weeks ago and the Wednsday night street meetings have been going for weeks - though SA would have a similar schedule.

No. Big argument between knob jane (oops I meant bob) as track owner and city dismantlers as the main sponsor. Timing equipment has gone bye bye, although track still used for burnout comps and other random shit. Hopefully to be resolved soon, and then track will be better than ever*.



*not that this would be considered a huge achievement compared with good professional outfits like WSID.
