TECHNICAL FIELD STAFF - WIRELINE LOGGING ENGINEERS.
Borehole Wireline Pty Ltd is a young and fast growing Adelaide based company providing wireline logging services for the Uranium exploration industry throughout Australia, but with particular emphasis in South Australia and the Northern Territories. We are experiencing unprecedented demand for our services and require several new recruits for our wireline logging services.
Wireline logging involves remote data acquisition of a rock’s physical properties using electronic “tools” lowered and raised in exploration and/or mining boreholes on steel armoured cables. The physical properties measured can range from natural gamma radiation, electron density, resistivity, conductivity and through to a full orientated acoustic or optical image of the borehole wall.
Our team provides key geophysical data to mining and exploration companies, which is essential for exploration, development and expansion.
A wireline logging engineer is responsible for the data acquisition, calibration of the equipment and tools, presentation of final results to the client, cleanliness and mechanical aspects of the logging vehicle through to daily reporting and timesheets.
As a wireline logging engineer with Borehole Wireline, you will be our “face” with the client, so it is important we train you through practical experience and SOP’s. We will provide you will all suitable work clothes and safety equipment.
We will offer a competitive salary and conditions, together with Key Performance Bonus’s.
You will need an open driver’s license, good health and fitness, be willing to work in remote locations, be a self starter and have a logical mind with attention to detail.
Qualification wise, we are flexible but you will need evidence of sound technical education or relevant work experience. This may include a degree, diploma or trade qualifications. Those with incomplete degrees are encouraged to apply.
