Is that Alonso with the lowest qualify time at 1:25.326.. faster than Raikkonen by .318? Can't wait until the race, no doubt it'll be full of action & a few surprises.
Good to see Webber is up there, once they sort the car out a bit more I hope he can only improve from here.
I'm loving the docco on at the moment, some great programming for today. I'll make it better with a few pints & a steak + guiness pie tonight!
if a motor has big enough injectors to run say, 7psi but only just starts to max out right on rev limit, will it run more boost lower in the revs without maxing out if you lower the rev limit?
John - yep, I meant chassis-wise, it's almost identical save for the mounting of the engines and associated cooling systems etc.
FWIW, I am also using the Kangaroo TV system at the track. KTV = small portable TV unit which not only offers trackside broadcast, but also in-car camera of your choice, choice to listen to PA or scan for team transmissions, stats (including comparing drivers, teams etc). Only $130 for the weekend. More GA people should get it so when they can't see the superscreen they can keep up to date.
PS Sorry to fatboy but his mate Scott Fleming just rearranged the front of his ute..
Yeah, wasn't a bad hit actually... :D
Scotty was just starting to get his lap times down and from what he said (i haven't watched the in car or the tv stuff yet) the car turned in better than he expected and he whacked the wall... then the other wall... then the first wall again...
Missed the GP qualifying etc as i was out all day - anyone have a link to the grid positions for tomorrow ??
That qualifying format seemed to work pretty well on telly actually. Didn't bother watching after that though. Well, actually, I fell asleep in the last session, but still good.

Didn't know they were used anywhere other than Nascar.
Decent watchable picture and meaningful stats Nafe? Pretty cool although on top of the price of tickets a little expensive...
I survived the patio flooding catastrophe of 2012.
