10 spots isnt fair - 5 is usually the norm when talking about avoidable accidents.

Seems like the McLaren tax is at work again.

BTW, congrats to BMW for their first ever win - they have been knocking on the door for ages.

10 is usual, 5 has only ever been handed out a couple of times. Hamilton definately deserved the 10, considering how bad the mistake was (it's a DQ offense to begin with compounded by taking someone else out) so if they were on a mclaren tax he would've been sitting next race out.

I fell asleep whilst Webber was stuck behind Kazuki to wake up and find DC in the points and Webber nowhere, kinda glad I fell asleep. Ah well, one shit race compared to one shit season from DC..... Webber's still 7th in the Championship.

From what I've been told, Hamo steered TOWARDS Kimi when he realised he couldn't stop in time to avoid hitting Heidfeld who is not a Championship challenger..... is it true? If so, what a cunt.

Nah, hamilton was steering towards the big gap to the left of kimi but panicked, locked up and slid into him. I've been thinking today about what a great advertisement that is for abs brakes. If the best drivers in the world in the best cars in the world still manage to lock up and slide into a car in front when not concentrating properly and get caught out by a red light it shows how important being able to jam on the brakes as hard as we can and still steer is to the rest of us!

Going to look online for a trasncript of his interview. Obviously not man enough yet to admit fault? Maybe Ron will give him a loving hug :D

Race was ruined with that pit incident.

i was led to believe that Heidfeld gave way to Kubica after he came out in front of Kubica.. I do think it was handed top him by BMW

heidfeld was 1 stopping, kubica still had his second to go, so unless heidfeld let him go he'd have no chance of victory. By the time Kubica pitted for second time, he was over 20seconds ahead, this is where he won the race, and heidfeld lost it. BMW were right to let kubica past, and let them race each other.

Thats gotta hurt for Webber, outshining his team mate all season, only to be beat to the 1st podium for the team.

Interview with Hamilton during race was pathetic. He was um'ing and ar'ing when asked if he didnt see the red light, still didnt admit to it. Wanker.

Raikkonen's comments on the incident are admirable.

What did Raikkonen say about it?

i reckon bmw told him to let kubica by as well. if they were on opposing teams then nick could have easily held kubica off for a few laps which would have easily given nick the win after kubica pitted.
