      consistency & experience.

webber is at RBR for next year.. year after that? who knows.

incidentally, if he wins the WDC next year, he still doesn't make it into the top ten oldest WDC's.

Disappointing result for Mark, but his quali really let him down on Saturday. It was always going to be tough from there.

Hopefully he can come back next year and give it another shot. It won't get any easier though, wookie was already the golden child, so who knows how bad it will be now.

Mark has one more year on contract with Red Bull right? Anyone think they'd give Daniel Ricciardo a go the year after? Or maybe promote one of the Torro Rosso Drivers (Algusueri) and then give Daniel a go in the B team?

How did he manage to kill them in 8 laps when Kob did 30+ on them? He must have been wheel-spinning something fierce unless he scraped something (was it that near-wall tap on the left-hander?)

was it brundle talking about red bull sponsoring ricciardo in f2 or f3 next year?

Conspiracy theories can eat dick, RBR fiddled with Marks car so that he'd be slow. Mark knew it, even in the post Q3 interview he was dejected as all fuck and knew that his employer had made achoice an he wasn't it.

Fuck RBR, fuck that golden cunt kindersurprise eating motherfucker and FUCK ECCELSTONE.

pitting then was never going to get him in clean air at any point. Even Greg Rust coulda worked that out! :D

Shoulda pulled him in under safety car, and he might have had a tiny inkling of hope ... but he was fucked from his shithouse performance in Quali so I don't really know why anyone is particularly surprised by the end result. Like I said last year in general- Webber will always snatch defeat from the jaws of victory- one way or another...

I thought Alonso's performance was entirely craptastic too- did nothing, tried nothing...

where is the win it or bin it in motorsport these days! :D

The thing is even if he did pit.. the three out front would have still walked off down the road as he was stuck in traffic - most likely Kubica instead of Petrov - end result may have been 5/6 instead of 8 but still no WDC.

yeah but that's not as shameful as 8th, which is a disgrace when your teammate wins a race, and you have no excuses.

Oh yeah, nothing to be proud of in 8th. But look at Fernando, not really much better was he.

I feel for him, probably not as much as the hardcore true fans do, because he a damn good year, and it just went wrong at the end.

But every point lost during the season is a point missing at the end. You could blame his kamikaze moves on Lewis in Aus, his flying antics in Valencia, and the lunacy of Turkey as much as the spin in Korea. Aus and Korea will hurt the most - they were straight up errors.

                          i don't think it's shameful

the reality is that Vettel is a freak... he's a douche but he rises to the pole like Senna... you don't wanna hear it but that's the truth

vettel makes mistakes sure... but he's 23

he's a multiple WDC at this rate

Webber has ONE DC in him AT BEST

I prefer to think that Mark was robbed by his team rather than him not being good enough.

No logical argument will convince me otherwise.

pitting mark to trick alonso into covering him was a brilliant strategic move by rbr to help vettel win

i think you are looking a different levels of drivers

mark is a potential one time WDC... there is no shame in that... so was damon hill, kimi and villenueve... it will cap off his career

mark is no seat warmer of the likes of reubens and massa

vettel is gonna be up there like schumacher... maybe 2, 3 or more times wdc

that's the truth. i won't celebrate nor care how many vettel wins. i don't care for schumacher either.
