IIRC they mainly add wing if it is wet. Takes them a few seconds and they can change oit back in the pit stops too cant they?
.... because every driver experiences the destructive potential of the effortless surge of power available through the smallest of body movements.

I think they can do that on the front wing pretty quickly, not sure about the rear. I suspect they can't.

It was pretty clear that Vettel wasn't suffering from the same tyre issues.
Not talking about the German Grand Prix in my post, was talking in general. Webber's post race comments suggested the car just didn't have pace and he had no idea why.

Agree pretty well with everything you said before except the Mark bit, I don't think that his problem in mental. In fact he may well be the toughest mentally of all of them given what he has been through although Fred is no soft head either. Mark does seem to be either hot or not on the day, maybe he is finding difficulties in finding the setup sweet spot, just like the starting problem which thankfully now seems behind him.

I think Mark's sexually frustrated to a degree, could be affecting his performance. I mean, we've all seen him shower the podium hoes with champers money shots with utmost glee...

Last year it was the diffuser wasn't suited to his driving style? I can't remember last years excuse.

                LOL!
                Definitely the most likely explanation.

Yeah that was the speculated explanation AFAIK. Tyres was an issue for him also.

He's second in the championship and won 2 races. What excuse is required for this result half way through the season?
                  RB26......................Again

Spot on. The biggest thing I noticed was even in the DRS zone Webber couldn't get near the car in front. For a lot of the race he was stuck behind a train of at least 2-3 cars meaning that the cars in front of him were also using DRS thus negating the use of his DRS. Perhaps he was also running more rear wing or a shorter gearing? Just suggestions. I also note that Seb couldn't get close to either the Ferrari or the McLaren in the DRS zone. It wasn't until Jenson's tyres turned to shit that he could make a move under braking..........which didn't really work our anyway. As we all know RBR = slow in a straight line. If they can't get clean air to run their own race they seem to get stuck behind other runners for the duration.

Mark Webber wants to be the new David Coulthard, he's got the chin... every year it's "Mark Webbers Year"

yeah sometimes I think half the performance of that RBR is in the short gearing they run. They just had superior aero in the past which is ALOT less superior this season and the lack of straight line speed (i.e. short gearing) is obvious as ever as a result.

RBR has always been shit in a straight line, DRS or not. Its a product of their design. Good and bad.

Yep the problem they have is without EBD/Double Diffuser they don't have corner exit speed 10-15km/h above everyone else so for once they are a sitting duck as people are already on them as they enter the straight where as before they just be catching them into the braking zone so had enough buffer to defend.

Seriously tho, 2nd in the championship 2 wins so far he is doing extremely well. It's still a long season. He didn't lose any places this race. At least he wasn't quoted on the radio as "should i retire" or had a cry over someone uplapping themselves.

Didnt drive around with a broken car either, nor did he get close enough to lap someone able to unlap themselves

                                Works both ways.
