Fuck him he had the chance to let Button back passed and have another crack and decided not to, Button complained straight away on the audio so the team had the chance to order him to give the position back. They elected not to so can wear whatever consequences are dealt. Vettel acted like a twat once again on the podium, good to see Alonso decided to interrupt his interview with Lauda also.

I can't see anyone beating Alonso now, the car is quick enough to be in the results and Ferrari to their credit have had bullet proof reliability which is something Red Bull and McLaren haven't had this year.

True but even between him and Massa they haven't had a mechanical retirement this year from a parts failure. They are capitalising on every opportunity available which is something the other teams have yet to manage. Webber's result yesterday or lack of had nothing to do with the team having to focus on 2 drivers and Catalunya was the same. Those results are going to be what makes or breaks the championship this year.

The facts are there, they haven't had to changes boxes, haven't had an engine/alternator spontaneously shit it self mid race, haven't fucked his stops or strategy. Alonso has also done his bit and stayed out of trouble as well as having some luck. Fuck knows how he didn't get a puncture off Massa's debris he plowed straight through the lot compared to Hamilton.

It took a while but they seem to have got it sussed.

This was a bigger factor in Vettel getting done by Jenson than Lewis passing him. Vettels stop was 3.3, add a lap on fresh tyres and bam - there is a 1.9 seconds he was behind.

He wasn't given 4 place penalty. He was given 20secs. Which in this race equalled 4 places. There have been races where he would of been over 20secs ahead of the next guy and he would of lost only 1 place. That's racing.

If you take a position illegally and don't give it back you get a drive through. Vettel got the equivilent.

He also got a less harsh version, because the drive through also involves slowing down for the entry road and accelerating back up to speed which add further time to your drive through. 20 seconds through the pits itself is easily 25 second loss.

And knowing the drive through gives other drivers a chance to react, gets you caught behind other cars and generally fucks your race over far more than Vettel out driving in clean air.
