good point, no idea.Originally posted by Nafe View PostWhat is it logbooked as?
from memory in the end they said they're not really supposed to allow V8 supercars on the track (i think the issue was to do with a clause about V8 supercar 'testing') but would let it run anyway if we were all okay with it.Originally posted by Walt KowalskiMemes are only detectable by NSA.

As long as it's not logbooked as a V8Supercar it should be fine. More than likely logged as a Sports Sedan.Nathan

I'll quote myself for irony. I stood down as president on Friday over a threat to sever ties with our club permanently. This is what happens when we deal with a monopoly.Originally posted by Cal View PostI have no idea and don't even know any V guys. I'm the president of Prod Sports Qld and just heard about it. I just think it's a disgraceful situation and need to tread carefully, as there is no reason any category couldn't suffer the same fate. Maybe there is more to the story, who knows. The most dangerous risk of all - the risk of spending your life not doing what you want, on the bet you can buy yourself the freedom to do it later. - Randy Komisar.

Farken.
Edit: is this to do with the whole "Modern Sports Car" category and the GT cars like the Ginetta?Nathan

HRCC did the same a few years back, hence not using QR.
Lakeside is cheaper, but they "sell" grids cheaper than a whole of track hire.
Risk of it is, a club just not filling up all the available spaces to make it pay.
Has happened to a few clubs now, but there is no policy change from the track operator.
Also where the fuck is CAMS on stepping in to assist the few who have tried to break the Sth East Qld monopoly?
