Some positive news from the Belgian Govt today who have given the go ahead for the Spa GP to go ahead behind closed doors.

So now we have Austria, Silverstone, and Belgium looking like viable races, albeit with empty grandstands.

Once they start contemplating leaving Europe, thats when things start getting extremely tricky though.

apparently macca are looking at mortgaging their factory and car collection to stay afloat.
.... because every driver experiences the destructive potential of the effortless surge of power available through the smallest of body movements.

The Sepang rumours haven’t died yet. Would work quite well given the proximity between track and airport and the relative lack of anything “around” the track.

Not sure how the teams would feel about downtown Hanoi. Australia is out of the equation, Singapore is another street circuit so impossible to isolate effectively.

So take out street circuits and it’s a real short list outside Europe.

Found this channel has a great series from '93 about the season that McLaren had with Senna's final year there and the debut of Mika Hakkinan after Michael Andretti left just before the Portuguese GP.

It's a seven part series and a great binge watch

So now the rumour is Alonso will return to Renault & possibly Liberty will chip in some cabbage to cover part of his wage.....100% want this to happen!

Probably bullshit but claims Vettel was never offered a contract beyond '20. Might explain why his leaving Ferrari was announced so early.

Wish they'd hurry up and cancel Singapore so I can get my money back. Was meant to be going but not in a hurry to go anywhere at the moment.

Gotta feel for Alonso. So much of F1 success is being in the right car at the right time...

Don't feel for him at all. Made his own bed on a number of occasions.

+1 I can understand the frustration he went through from missing out on the championships with Ferrari or his time at McLaren, but the way he went about things, he done himself no favours...

+1 and especially pissed if he comes back subsidised by Liberty.

How is a driver subsidy even fair?

Alonso -The worlds most over rated world champion.

im no particular Alonso fan however if you're liberty there is some sense in paying to have him around rather then some 20yr old nobody that may or may not make it. im sure Alonso still has some decent pull with certain sponsors and viewers in a number of markets.
                            RB26......................Again

The sources seem credible on this. Seems like they had Sainz lined up for the drive since the winter break, and Ricciardo had an understanding with McLaren since ten as well. Explains why McLaren are so calm about it, and Renault so grumpy.

Rough to be a 4 times world champ and getting told 'don't come Monday'

The funny thing is, I'm sure Le Clerc is good, but it's not like he thrashed Vettel. And they're basing their next few years of title challenges around this guy. Let hope he can stand up to the mental pressure.
