It was a racing incident. But it was a stupid move by Rosberg. Too early in the race. On a team mate.Originally posted by hrd View PostThe Stewards were never even interested in looking at it, that's how bad and indefensible it was.
His team is pissed off at the likely WDC. That tells you a lot.Smug elitist wanker since 2013.

Problem is everyone else will run a similar wing at monza.Originally posted by Rona View PostDouble points last race with a merc retirement could throw things in the air. Driving damn well who'd have picked red bull to win at spa even after the last round lol. If they run a similar wing at monza it could be interesting.

Stewards have been told this year to be more lenient with incidents. It was a clumsy challenge early in the race.Originally posted by hrd View PostThe Stewards were never even interested in looking at it, that's how bad and indefensible it was.
Rosberg getting grilled in post race paddock interviews blaming the British fans for the booing. No opinion at the moment till he watches the replay.:worship: RIP Sir Jack Brabham AO, OBE (1926-2014) 3 World Titles, Legend.

lol yeah stupid trying to pass someone early in the race??? Opening laps has always been one of the best times to try and make a pass, and it's the most important time to get ahead of your team mate to ensure you get the 1st strategy option. Even more so now the Hamilton changed the rules of engagement about being on the alternative strategy at the last race... Rosberg didn't do anything wrong, and was pulling back out of the move when it wasn't working out. If you're always chopping across people's noses in battles, this is inevitably going to happen sooner or later.Originally posted by id View PostIt was a racing incident. And that crazy old man is not the team. Obviously they're not going to be pleased their drivers came together on the track. But it's not the first time team mates have crashed into each other and it won't be the last. It happens in motorsport. And that was an innocuous little incident. Just happened to have a big impact to one of them, and a significant impact to the other. That's the dangers of racing aggressively in close quarters. Maybe Mercedes need to call the battle off and back their lead driver now that we're basically 2/3rd through the season
hehe

How many times did Magnussen run people off, LOL. Few years ago those defensive lines would've been alright, I think there's a rule where you have to leave a car-width's space where a competitor has their front wing adjacent to the rear wheel.
Twice on Alonso in Rivage. Once on Button in the same place. Ran Alonso off on the Kemmel.
Alonso's reaction was funny as always. Vettel's was pretty dumb.
