Why are you showing two different corners there?

Looks like the same corner to me. At first I thought it was different, but the line markings in the background match up in relation to the ripple strip. Contrast is different which throws it off visually. My car

Hamilton should of taken a leaf out of Vettel's book.
Look at Brazil 2012. Vettel was punted around and ended up last with a damaged car. Fought back and got high enough up the order to still win the World Championship.
Lewis might regret pulling over if he loses the drivers crown by 4 ot 5 points.
Rosberg has cracked Hamilton. He is going to go all gunho now and royally fuck it all up I feel. Which is good for us, on the remote outside chance RBR gets 100% behind Dan and he manages to get within a shot at the final "double points" round.Panzer Wagen

That scenario would of required no damage happening to the fastest car in the field and him losing 10 seconds, not a minute at spa?Originally posted by AndyMac View PostHamilton should of taken a leaf out of Vettel's book.

Don't follow TJ.
Vettel was dead last in Brazil and I think he needed at least 6th to win the WDC, with a hostile field. He got back on it and chased. Brazil is still a power track. I'll admit Hamilton had to pit for a tyre, but with the advantage he has over mid fielders, even with his damage, he could of surely at least got 8th or something - if he focused on the driving part and not the flat brim whinging.
And the main advantage is the engine in the back, that wasn't damaged in the contact with Nico.Panzer Wagen

He definitely suggested parking it.Originally posted by TJ View PostClive from what I read he said the car was terrible, but didn't ask to park it up on lap 3.
I was watching with a mate and we both said two things about how fast he drove back to the pits - poor fucker was miles away, can't blame him
1) lol, looks like he is leaving as much shit as possible on the track to hopefully fuck someone else over
2) bet he fucks up his floor with the carcass and then asks to park it to save his engine

TJ how can you not see that that he contributed to the accident by stubbornness?
they were both stubborn actually,
Britney refused to back out to either teach Hamilton a lesson, or hope that he yielded to him (a win/win for him), and;
Lucy of course refused to yield and 50/50 potentially lose a place, but also tried to push nico off the track by taking a tighter line which due to Britney also being stubborn meant he was going to cop damage.
it was never going to end well, but there was no chance of win for Lucy. (50:50/lose for him)
the he fact is though, you hit with your front you lose an end plate and at worst cop 10sec as your nose is changed. However, if you get hit in the rear, at best you have a flat two corners from the pit entry and cop 10sec, at worst, well, you get what Lucy did.
your hero may be fast, probably the fastest guy out there, but he sure is dumb.
Its not a fair fight. You're talking genius/mensa type who got accepted into imperial college to study aeronautical engineering, vs the bloke from the suburbs who didn't finish high school (and possibly wouldn't have passed anyway)

^ exactly, they were both at fault.
As I said a few pages ago, Nico was being very optimistic by being there but Lewis would have done EXACTLY the same thing. He would have known full well that Nico was there and assumed that when he closed the door on him Nico would back out of it.
Stupid of Nico to be poking around there with a 0.1% chance of getting through, but he's a racer and they are wired like that - he's gonna go for a gap. Stupid of Lewis to chop him.

Lewis has run Nico off the road at least 3 times I can remember this season when Nico has been fully alongside. Twice in Bahrain and once again at the previous race in Hungary. Nico's had enough and decided next time he leans on me, I'm staying put. That's the point he was making: don't run me out of road anymore/I'm not your bitch. And good on him I reckon.
It's the way the big boys used to sort out who you could push around and who you couldn't... And since they aren't penalising drivers for running guys off the road anymore, Rosberg decided to sort it out the old school way and has taken any criticism on the chin. Hamilton has done nothing but cry and moan.

Britney has got well and truly inside Hamiltons head. Well and truly. Even after the team debrief, Hamilton has again made to look like a whinny little boy by his "Rosberg admitted it" statements. Rosberg just played it cool with the "His version is different form my version but regardless, I don't discuss team debriefs" comments.
