I don't know Macauley, but growing up in that family, I'd take a bet that his dream would be to win Bathurst, preferably with the family team.

Tim Blanchard is starting a team for next year, based at CoolDrive, so you'd think BJR will be after sponsorship to replace that too.

Why is sandown off the calendar but Winton stays?

A. trying to slot in the race between Horsey events
B. Winton is promoted by the track, so Supercars don't wear any potential loss
C. the only enduro race is Bathurst now, so the traditional Sandown 500 lead in has no place

The first things I noticed were that the Enduro Cup clearly isnt happening, and that The Bend is off the list, after originally being given an enduro date for this year.

That is a huge shame, and given Gold coast is the final round, I see no reason why the NZ round couldnt be the second of the 3 enduro's?

The Bend is on the list, in May.
Phillip Island not on the list though.
Also they are abnormally spaced out, I feel they usually squeeze more in and December for the last race seems a bit later than normal.

Indeed it is, but as a Supersprint round, when I thought the plan was for it to become one of the enduro's in place of Sandown?

Yes, the 6 week break to avoid clashing with the Olympics, has definitely pushed the season far later into the year.
