For sure. Just wondering if either driver is stupid enough to play their bluff and get replaced. I’ve got no sympathy for em as you say it’s Supercars party so play by their rules or sit on the couch.

Glad that Gen3 has been pushed back to 2023. Be interesting to see what the new owners do regarding Gen3. Will they stay the path or replace it with their own creation?
Sutherland Shires #1 Escort? is that like being the 4th best prostitute in Kazahkstan?

If it was Adderton he'd scrap it and do something else, or modify it extensively.
ARG prob won't fuck with it. They certainly won't go GT4 which would make them markedly slower than ARG's own GT3 series....

It will be similar to what we have now, besides the engines. Co ttol chassis, bolt-on bodywork, transaxle...

The main thing to take from it is the catagory will dictate the exact specifications of each model, rather than the likes of DJR or Triple Eight.

Only reason I'm such a Fan of GT4 is I like the idea of internationals being able to come join the field for the bigger events

If they wanted to bring the Next Gen Nascars down under I would not complain

I'm telling you, these cunts know what they're doing.

From the get go everything about the new NASCAR changes have screamed WIN IMHO.

Moving with the times, keeping a foot in the past and the other in the present. I really dig it.

More importantly, how does the Supra look?

                      NASCAR going Hybrid in 2024

I trust V8SC will go to a 2.8 litre turbo diesel just like a majority of Aussies buy in their cars

The SUPRA based car in Xfinity isn't the best looking machine - but I'm sure it will improve as Xfinity move to NEXTGEN spec machines in the future

The NextGen Camry look like something my subcontinent Neighbor would have in his drive way

Yeah hahaha Ive seen pics of the Supra already...not pretty at all

I must say that I found the exterior styling of the latest Camrys to be very influenced by Lexus, which surprises me, given Lexus is supposed to be the luxury branch of the firm, so it seems odd to start making the cheaper option look similar to the flagship model. Camrys are certainly not what would be considered bland in the style dept anymore...

I was always under the impression they were pretty much the same thing

Toyota Windom was a Flash Camry AKA a Lexus ES?

                            Or a Aristo was a V300

20-25 years ago, yes, they shared a few platforms but gave the lexus a facelift and more features, but I cant think of any of their cars since the 2000's that shared platforms? Landruiser maybe?

Once they turned into the full blown modern day luxurious hi tech cars that we see today, they branched off to make a clear distinction between the two, but with the current Camry, it appears that we are seeing a convergence of sorts once again

Don't believe that is true at all.

Everything is platform shared across both brands.
