Haven't looked at the TCR/WTCC structure yet, but I'm struggling to see how it'll all fit together. Although the FIA will probably fuck it, just like they did with Super Touring and S2000.

Well the TC1 cars currently used in WTCC won't be of any use... all cars will be based off TCR rules.

As I read it Bright has to leave PRA so they could run Stanaway under their banner to keep to the 4 car limit for a team.

No doubt a deal was done between them all for it to work out.

Either way Bright now has a nice little nest egg and will no doubt show up as an enduro driver for a few more years as part of the sweetener to give up full time racing.

That's right, but PRA will buy an LDM REC to run Stanwaway under the PRA umbrella. That means they didn't have to talk Brighty into running Stanaway using his REC.

Brighty rec to MSR for Hazelwood

Bright is still contracted to PRA as a driver, enduro driver at minimum.

A number of contracts will need to be bought out or torn up, to have the abovemetioned ideas actually play out.

Also sounds as though there's a vacant seat at Tekno next year.

Yeah I saw that but remains to be seen whether he can find a seat over there. I’m sure it’d be cheaper then a season in Supercars even with LDM
