Truly is amazing. A young kid falls in love with the sport and indycar in particular, becomes one of the most successful motorsport entities in history, and then buys the whole thing.

They'll honour the contract....he just doesn't get to drive, but still has to do all the hospitality etc, interesting article

Agreed. Considering he still had 1 more year to run on his contract, makes it even tougher to take.

Surely he must have some legal options here, unless his contract had a get out clause at the teams discretion.

Either way, its shitty behaviour, telling him so late in the piece, as the chance of getting a ride elsewhere is slim.

He's going to need luck or money that no one seems willing to put up atm.

Interesting news this morning, with Marcus Ericsson being signed to drive a third car for Chip Ganassi racing.

That will be a very strong line up with Scott, Felix and Marcus, and will help to balance the advantage that Penske have with 3 strong entries.

It was a pretty odd last race with most of the title protagonists not performing as well as you would expect, but passing looked all but impossible at Laguna so it was just a case of follow the leader really.

Well done to Josef though, 4 wins in such a competitive field deserves the cup at the end of the day.

If only Scott hadn't of had the battery die at Toronto, and the stone pierce the radiator at Gateway, things could have been a lot different, but that's racing

It was really good to see Will manage to find his form again, and to end his season with a couple of wins after such a unfortunate year.

Roll on 2020 where I think we are going to see a lot more of this years "rookies"
