Very sad to read this morning

Very few people left as forthright as Robin was and who are not afraid to say things that might upset someone

Indeed. Truly one of a kind. A very sad day

If anyone’s into podcasts Dinner with Racers sat down with Miller couple of years back and he told some really good tales about his life in a way that only he could. Priceless.

Finally its time for the cars to hit the track again this weekend...It feels like its been way too long since the last race!!

This final triple header of the season, made up of Portland, Laguna Seca, and Long Beach is going to be absolutely nuts, with at least 5 drivers in with a real shot of winning the cup.

Now we will see if the ridiculously quick young guns can keep their nerves calm enough to not make any silly mistakes, as one mistake could spell disaster for their championship chances.

              Pato O'Ward - 435
              Alex Palou -425
              Jo Newfarden -413
              Scott Dixon -382
              Marcus Ericsson -375

Cmon Scott...fight back and go for Championship #7!!

And then there were 2 (3*)

Sadly, apart from Grosjean, the racing was decidedly lack lustre today....tyre deg was huge on both compounds,, and led to very processional racing.

Palou goes into next weekends finale with a very healthy margin of 35 points, and realistically, given the way the points system is, even if O'Ward gets pole, fastest lap, most laps led, and wins the race, Palou will only need to finish the race somewhere in the top 10 to seal his first championship. Although, this is Indycar we are talking about, so anything can happen hahaha

                            Fully agree.

I have, for years, lamented the early end to their typical seasons.

The date for the finale is sure to add to the occasion too...

Also the Indy season should IMO finish at a Oval Fontana (But its getting ruined now) Milwaukee Mile would work

Also interesting to see Nascar going to Gateway next year hope it doesn't dilute what has been on of the best attended IndyCar Ovals outside of the 500

Oh, I didnt realise it was because of the NFL calendar...I had always presumed, that it was weather related, given how effin cold it gets in Seppo land through their winters

At least there is 5 Oval races next year
