Just means it's perfect all the time and the driver's can focus on other things.
    If in doubt power out

11.1.4 Any change to, or modulation of, the brake system, other than any movement of the minimal
flexible parts described in Article 11.4 to 11.6, whilst the car is on the track must be made by
the driver's direct physical input or by the system referred to in Article 11.9, and may not be
      pre‐set.
It's against that, and it also takes away from the driver needing to drive the car.

It is very fucking clever though.

If guilty will they lose all Constructors points for races that they are found to have used said device / programming?

Could really hammer the budget for 2020

It will be very interesting to hear where the info came from.

It could also be a track distance “reminder” on what to set the brake bias setting to. That’d be driver controlled (legal) but if it appears onscreen like “Set Bias Mode4” it’d be really easy to assume it’s the system being automated.

With the control ECUs etc surely no-one would be stupid enough to obviously flaunt the driver aids rule that openly?

Its probably a lot more like the “oh we didn’t think of that, so now we will clarify the rule”

Absolutely serious. After Verstappen's little performance at the Red Bull Ring, it's so nice to see LeClerc repay the favour.

Maybe, but to get a 12 page dossier tells me there is more information than that.

Remember, brake bias is more than just handling and lap time these days - it is also about Harvesting energy - something Renault have been WOEFUL at. So if they suddenly have a way to recover max electrical power at each turn this helps them a ton.

Slam dunk penalty for Charles - why it took so long I don't know.

Even he admitted it straight up.

anyone challenging the leclerc penalty watch the footage. Mid corner his car under-steered badly and he drove into Max. Max had left him heaps of space. then he drives around with carbon projectiles flying off his car for 2+ laps. it was a slam dunk.
