The new 720S or whatever it's called.

I was up on the mountain watching when he did the lap - was on the ragged edge...

Must feel nice being strapped into something that rapid, even more so if you dont have to pay the bill if something unexpected happens.

Good luck for the rest of your weekend.

Day 1 down. I boiled my brake fluid but bleeding it came good thank god. Group C has a lot of awful drivers in it and traffic has been a big problem but I managed a 2:46 with some serious impeding. I reckon if punch out a 2:43 or lower if all I could get was a single clear lap.

What sort of fluid to you run, Reedy?

                  Good luck for tomorrow

I’ve used penrite racing fluid for years. I just hadn’t flushed for 12 months and 4 track days so it’s really my fault. I should have known better.

                      braver man than me mate.

I did a full bleed after each day and sometimes during lunch

mistake most make is not using a fresh bottle each weekend.

Yea I used to bleed them excessively but after yesterday’s incident we were giving it a quick bleed after every session. I’ll definitely get back into the routine now tho. I’m just lucky the fluid didn’t start to boil until after I’d slowed down for a cooldown lap.

Had a watch of your footage online Reedy. Nice work, gets along well. Can't wait to have a crack at the mountain myself.

Yea I’m pretty satisfied with the times I managed. I’m leaving quite a lot of time on the table but that’s just me balancing up the level of risk I’m willing to take.

The whole event was very well run, heaps of fun. Traffic was a bit of a problem as I was put in a group with some very slow drivers but overall it’s a great way to experience the mountain.

Here’s some video of the cleanest back to back laps I managed.

Would you be able to write a review of the whole thing for us? Like what you needed to do and what it costs to be able to enter etc? I'd love to do this but wouldn't know where to start.
