Great result for Jack, and not a moment too soon either, given the tough start to the season that he has had.

You could see how much it meant to him, and even though it was nearly 1am here when he won, for some reason somebody was cutting onions at my house too

EDIT: Just watched the Moto3 race, and even though it was evident already, this kid Pedro Acosta is clearly going to be the next Alien in the sport. 16 years old, and podiums his first 4 Grand Prix, and wins 3 in a row!!!

The last corner of the last lap always delivers at Jerez....Juame Masia was PISSED....havent seen somebody yell and scream like that in the pits for years

Here you go, this is what I was talking about previously.....straight from the horses mouth, bitching again, cause things aren't going his way!

Meanwhile, the former KTM rider's outburst on Sunday came after finishing the Spanish Grand Prix in tenth, a place behind teammate Marquez. Espargaro suffered a handful of hevay crashes throughout the weekend and was far from pleased at the conclusion of the weekend: "We do not have traction, we do not turn and our speed is not good. I cannot ride smoothly, so I'm riding tight. I'm trying to gain every time more and more time on the brakes, until the brakes then give up and then I go wide. Because in the other areas we are a mess, so… it's like this."

"I would love to tell you but I have no idea," responded the number 44 when asked if we would be testing the 2020 chassis Nakagami took to fourth during the Jerez Test. "I'm just an employee of Honda and I'm going to do what they want me to try and I'm going to work with the package they want me to work on. But there were different ones during today's race, different Hondas and… that's it.

"We are all using different packages. He's using one, I'm using another one. And the satellite team they are using another one. I'm going to go on the test and try different things and let's see what they want me to test and if we can improve the overall situation. Because I think we are going too much individually and not as a group and this at the end is hurting the group. And this is not good."

Is the 2020 chassis giving Nakagami the edge at Honda?

Espargaro's biggest frustrations have come from not understanding where he's going wrong. After a positive pre-season testing and showcasing pace during the opening two rounds of the year that could've seen him challenge the leading contenders, he now admits he's totally lost: "I don't know if it's me, if it's the bike, if it's the package I'm using, if it's my riding style, if it's my electronics, I have no idea. We are using different packages, different riders are using different things, and it's difficult to understand what is working and what isn't.

"I always like to know that when I have problems, I want to know why I have the problems so that we can stop them from happening. And I have the feeling that we don't know what is happening. I don't know, and this makes me very angry. I am very frustrated because I don't know what I have to improve [during the Official Test]. Because I am the only rider using my package, so who can I compare myself to? What am I doing wrong? Why am I going slowly? This is my frustration, not understanding things. I think we will all improve if we all have the same things."

I think you're being a little harsh on Pol, as I've never been aware of him him being particularly whingey previously,
even when the KTM was really crap, & he certainly dragged it out of the doldrums, when all the others were struggling.

But then people labeled Casey Stoner as a "Moaner" when he simply said it like it was, imo.

Personally, I think Pol is airing his frustration, which appears justified to me, though riders are expected to follow the party line, unfortunately.

Realistically the 2021 Honda is a piece of shit, in the front end & the 2019/2020 wasn't much better, just the fact that MM was able to ride around those issues,

much like Stoner did when nobody else could ride the Duke, including the much vaunted Valentino.

But, of course, we can all agree to disagree, unless you get on some of the Pommy based websites,
like Crash.net,for instance, then the juveniles come out to play & rational discussion goes out the window!

Morbidelli still blows me away. I remember him winning the Moto2 championship a while ago and thinking "that bloke can ride"

He came third on the weekend. On a two year old bike.

I fully agree with you...I dont read anything in that report that makes Pol out to be a moaner....he is simply stating things as he sees them, like most riders/drivers/sportsmen do after a tough event. I didnt see him blaming anybody or throwing his toys etc. The bike has always been notoriously hard to ride by anybody, including MM, and Pol's comments sound almost exactly like Cal would have said in years past

Indeed, he is a weapon. I really wish Vale would hop back on the same bike to compare, as the new ones (20/21) seem to be plagued by the same problems

Thats a big shame, but you could see how much pain he was in on Sunday. Hope he can return asap without any risk to exacerbate the issue

Well its looking like a miserably wet weekend again at Le Mans.

I am looking forward to seeing which bikes and riders adapt best to the slippery conditions...I imagine MM will be happy to not have to ride as physically as he would in the dry.

                  Time for a lottery result?

Great first day of practice, with the changeable conditions in P1 and the need to go out on slicks and pump in time attack laps straight away in P2 with it being dry, but with rain threatening.

So glad to see Rossi improve his form and make his way into the top 10...hopefully he can avoid the brutal 2021 Q1 session and start on the first 3 rows
