Redbull have come out overnight claiming to have data from Hamiltons car, proving that he went into Copse, faster on lap 1, than at any other time in the race, and they claim that at that speed and trajectory, there is no way that he could have made the corner in any way, without colliding with Max.

Will be interesting to see if the FIA will consider the new data, in regard to a possibly harsher penalty.

So fucking petty of Redbull and that's coming from a RBR fan.

Of course he went in fast. Hamilton said that if he didn't get the move done before Max's tyres got to temp he would have lost the race. Wasn't it reported that Max also went in to that corner too fast?

Max has crashed into half the grid with Horner always hand waving it off. If you're an aggressive driver that defends VERY hard, which Max does, you can expect more drivers to start putting their elbows out.

It was a rash move by Hamilton but certainly not deliberate. The cars are extremely fragile and to cause a collision usually means both cars are compromised/retired.

Im not defending or supporting either side, just wanted to bring this info to the table as it adds intrigue

RedBull are truly the worst if they try to appeal / take this to court - that's Ferrari level cuntyness

Of course he was faster - first time all weekend he had such a good tow.....

Except of course he got a better tow from Charles up the straight into Copse before the pass for the lead. And that was near the end of the race when his car was in its fastest trim.

On L1, with tyres possibly still coming up to temp, heavy with fuel, and a more compromised entry line, with a car on the outside - he apparently still entered faster than any other time in the race! Totally not his fault, just a racing incident. What more could he possibly do to try and stay on the inside of that car, or make something like the apex?

Yes they work, but some videos don't let you embed them (this is configured by the people who upload them to YouTube).

Horner has always been a cunt though, so this is nothing new.

Regardless of who crashed into who, this never would have happened if there was no sprint race. Max would have 25 points not zero.

Pardon my ignorance but what bearing on anything did the sprint race have and how would Max cunt have benefitted or Ham cunt not benefitted if the sprint didn't happen?

Btw, my take on the incident is. 2 hard headed cunts not willing to give an inch on track or the mental game. The outcome was inevitable.
I would like to see more of that type of racing in future, obviously without the crash part, if possible. Inevitably there will be some carnage but it's better than watching a procession of fast cars and overpaid drivers.

Edit. As far as the penalty, it does seem a little light but i think was the right call as it won't deter hard racing and that is ultimately what we the fans want to see.

Yeah but because max is a cunt, facts like Lewis not being able to make the corner are irrelevant. He had it coming so its case closed.

                              Probably assumptive statement!

Thats a load of shit. He made the corner easily even after banging wheels which would make it harder. F1 cars are not mario carts. I am thhe only one that finds irony in the that 24 hours earlier cars were almost identically swapped and Lewis had to get out of it on the out side to avoid a collision? Max didnt give Lewis the same courtesy and the result is history.

Horners coments after spain and now silverstone just make him look like a hypocrite. Easy for them to dish it but they cant take it
