Hey Erko, mind if I ask where you bought the Craft Square mirrors from?

Nice car BTW, good luck with the sale

              Thanks Cal,

Yeah i think its probably very close to the most well rounded and complete NA Turbo street car in Oz. I've only had it out at Wakefield once, 1.13 damp track. Hopefully get it out again soon. New R Specs and good conditions i'd expect sub 1.10. Its not really set up for track speed though, i've softened it up a lot putting interior back in, power steering, street tyres, Tein SS (had really firm buddyclubs) pulled out a lot of the negative camber etc. Its just a really sweet all around mix of power/handling/stopping/comfort and its neat and straight too.

@ TCR, the craft squares came on the car when i bought it. i think the previous owner got them off yahoo japan. Thanks for the well wishes, though leaning towards keeping it as i dont really need the money now, so there will be no fire sale

                Very true.

This is an incredibly well put together car, I don't reckon there would be many if any other NA model turbos built to this quality. Good luck with the sale, who ever buys it is getting an awesome car.

                  Thanks.

So you sold your Typhoon as well? What did you replace that with?

We obviously have pretty similar tastes as I have a lightly modded BF XR6 Turbo road car and a white NA8 track car.

If I ever get sick of Production Sports Car racing and just want to do an all out track car, I reckon I'd end up turbocharging the NA8 and going all "sport sedan" on it.

Without starting a flame war, is this what a good MX5 is worth these days? I assumed they were about $10k less for a good modified one.

It is worth whatever somebody will pay for it.

yes, and no. what would you compare it with? what exactly is a good modified one? (they are few and far between in my experience). I think you really need to know a lot about them to see where the value is. They arent for everyone thats for sure. I'm not over the barrel to sell it, so its fair to say the circumstances will always dictate asking price on a used car.
