    N14 SSS pulsar (ACT)

    Hey guys,

Had to get something auto my wife could drive, and i need to have one less car.

    The Good

    Cold Aircon
    Hot Heater
New waterpump and rocker cover gasket
    Tires on 16" alloys
    Alarm with central locking/remote
    CD player with Ipod control/plug
    newish shocks
    Kings low springs

    The Great

    GTiR front brakes
Whiteline - rear sway bar, front strut brace, rear strut brace, front structure brace thing
    handles *REALLY* well.

    The Crap

The body its not great - some dents in the roof
the fan on the heater only works on 3&4
it isn't too smooth on transitional throttle (low throttle openings when its not yet warm, but not totally cold, probably the AFM needs a really good clean)

pretty much still looks like this with act rego though.

Its a seriously fun little car to drive, I've daily'd it to work for the last year or so, and the only issue i've had was the water pump.

good for a 1:20 around wakefield with me hamfistedly driving it (did one cold wet track day, didn't miss a beat)

turns 10L/100 no worries at all cheap as to run

looking for about 3k aka about what the whiteline stuff was worth new.

I have nfi why i seem to have no pics from the front and they are all edo spec

It's one of the hawte jap spec ones with the good interior (although the shift knob and the steering wheel are worn) and the cool bits driving & fog lights etc
This is a post i wrote by mistake, which is nice...

Fan thing is an easy fix.....replace the blower motor resistor, 66 bucks from Nissan spares

Lives up above the passenger footwell

The throttle transition thing happens on pretty much all of them. Back when i had one it was something people tried almost everything to fix but never had much luck......the EGR gear seemed to be the culprit though.

Giving the AFM a clean with carbiclean seems to help, its never bothered me, so ive never really tried too hard to fix it.

Can vouch for this SSS. Owned it for a couple of years and it was a mad little car. GLWS.

More pics for those who requested.

Sorry its dirty - but im too lazy to pull it out until someone wants to come and look at it - i'd have to move the camira, to move the cortina, to get to the kingswood to get to the aristo, to get to the trailer so suffer in your jocks.

-----------------------------------------------------------------^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ i guess i should have moved this bundle of crap before taking the pic

How "not great" is the body? Am tempted to upgrade from the current craporolla I'm driving to work.

Really depends on your perspective - for a show car - shit house, for a station trolley - good, usual carpark dings for a car of this age..
