    - S-Line exterior package
    - S-Line interior package, including flat bottomed steering wheel

Cheers Jason. As a jack-of-all-trade type daily deal, it's pretty awesome.

Having test driven the usual 7 seater suspects with no-pics to replace the Q5, they've been pretty drab. They all lack the steering feel and have over-assistance of steering and brake functions, as well as miss the low-down torque of the 6cyl diesel that makes the Q5 a good thing. :wayned:

These make an awesome tow car. Not too many of them with the 3L!

Cheers for the heads up. Shitful like every other cuntful CVT that is doughy to respond and noisy in operation (all the while sounding like rev flaring at anything more than 5.36% throttle)? Or shitful as in, every second Pathfinder is a ticking timebomb and the CVT will self destruct in a manner that'll leave the no-pics and kids stranded 3 hours from home?

The former, I can live with, as no-pics will almost always be sole driver of the lardy bus, so not my concern. The latter, not so much...

Correct on both fronts, the majority out there roll around with the 2L, 'dieselgate' 4 cyl.

Whilst not being a monstrous feat by loaded car trailer standards. It tows the alloy 18 foot boat and trailer without issue, torquey enough that even with family onboard, boat loaded and cruise control set uphill, it maintains its speed.

Anything Nissan SUV is going to be aids. It's the beige camry of the SUV world with none of the toyota reliability perks.

At least an Audi is an Audi to drive around and be in for your trip, not a fucking appliance mobile fully of cloth and kids food mashed into it. You pay for it, though "life is too short etc etc"

I've never let our little one eat in the Q5, but the wife is bad enough and there is fucking apple cores and I once found a fucking passion fruit half beside a seat LMFAO.

tranny dies stranding she who must be obeyed and the screaming kinder.

might of been fixed in the "newer" refresh but early ones had lots of problems with trans shuddering then leading to failure eventually.

I just bought an SQ5 after driving a Q5. Iíd always said the Cayenne would be replaced with another Cayenne but drove one of these as I just happened to be walking past a dealership with one. My wife and I just couldnít fault it.

Damn, never have I liked CVT trans, but now iím damned concerned. If thereís any comfort, having read 2 US based forums, Whingepool and productreview.com.au, it appears from 2016 years onwards, the CVT problems cease. That and the vehicle that no-pics has Ďpurchasedí has almost 3yrs manufacturer warranty remaining.

Jason, just to confirm, this relates to the Kneesan R52 Pathfinder? If so, thatís good news. Itís a Series II, Aug 2018 build, first regoíd Jan Ď19. At least it has balance of new car warranty.

Seems a backward step giving up the Q5 for a questionably reliable, oversized people mover thatís disguised as an AWD SUV.

Yeah nice, if the budget had stretched back in Ď14, an SQ5 would have been it. SQ5ís are a sweet rig!

GF's boss has an SQ5, the thing hammers. I think he spent 8 grand on a set of injectors for it though.

Guess how i know your nopics didnt drive a Santa fe or Sorrento. The Pathfinder really is a low point for Kneesarn imho.

Price dropped to $34,800 as listed on Carsales. With room to move on price, can offer a decent sized discount for PFer's!

                            Got it in one.

No firm idea what drew no-pics to the Pathfinder (pretty long in the tooth to boot), but she's committed to a pretty well priced/optioned, ex Nissan Exec Series II Ti (think four months on road, 3K KM's) for a discount of over $24+K off new price.

Knowing now what I know of the Pathfinder's CVT woes, rather than forfeit the deposit, we've negotiated an extended factory warranty into purchase, just in case. Pray for no-pics... (Hey, at least she made the call on purchase, so if it all turns to shite, I won't (shouldn't) be held accountable.

Fair enough sounds worth a punt if the price is right and has extended warranty.
