    [QLD] BMW E21 Race car

Sadly time to advertise my racecar as I don't have the cashflow to run it effectively whilst doing regular life stuff. The car is actually very cheap to run, unfortunately I'm just a pleb on well below the standard $250k PF salary.

I love this little thing, built it up because an E21 was what I always wanted to race and it turned out so much better than I ever hoped. Had a great season of racing in 2018 but never got around to getting things prepped and ready for 2019. Had planned to do a JPS style livery but never got around to painting. Paint the car and tidy the rear and you've got yourself a quick, reliable and unique car that is awesome to drive and races really well. Plan if it doesn't sell is still to get it looking awesome again and try and sell it like that for a bit more (do have some debt that I'm trying to clear), if that doesn't happen and I end up with some extra cash lying around, you can bet that I'll be back on track at the first opportunity I get.

    BMW E21 race car - $10,000

Queensland Touring Car Championship frontrunner, finishing 2nd in the Group B championship for 2018.

Fast and reliable, finishing 22 of 23 races started in 2018. Easy on tyres, brakes, fuel and motor thanks to a strong and safe built M20B25 motor and race weight less than 1000kg with driver.

Car was stripped from a roadcar and rebuilt from the ground up, suspension, brakes, engine, gearbox, diff, roll cage and safety equipment all brand new as part of the build.

Entire racing history can be viewed on this YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNW...t=da&flow=grid

As it sits today, the car needs some cosmetic attention in the form of paint and some light panelwork to the rear. Runs perfectly, exactly as was raced, clutch not engaging due to being in storage. Planning to finish and sell, but as is will suit someone able to take on the minor work needed.

    Built M20B25
    945kg w/driver
    BC Racing Coilovers
    3.9 diff
    CAMS cage
    Containment seat
    298x28mm front brakes
    & more.

Mate, that thing is cool as fuck.

If 10k won't change your life, i'd hold onto it and race it again sometime down the track or even just do a few track days now and again ?

I sold my APRA Pulsar for 13k which was a bare shell rebuild because i had a fucked back and needed surgery. Couldn't see myself racing again given my back problems. 18 months later i'm kicking myself in the arse for selling it...
The older i get, the better i was...

Thanks mate, I really appreciate it.

I know I'll be kicking myself if it sells, but things are pretty tight for me at the moment. If it doesn't sell and things change for me in the future (which is certainly possible, I'm working hard towards the next part of my career) then I'll be over the moon if I can keep it and get racing again, but right now today it makes sense to sell. There are pros and cons to both situations, funnily enough both pretty balanced in their own way. Not having the racecar means I'll have cashflow to get my E28 M535i back on the road again (last registered in March 2013 .... ) as well as making life a bit more manageable in general.

It might sell and then I find myself in a better position career wise and then I'll regret it for a very long time......or I could keep it and destroy the thing the next time I'm on track. Can't really dwell on it too much, I'm just really stoked that I got to do it in the first place
