Modified 2013 Fiesta ST - CBR

I bought this car as a project to fix up over Christmas. I probably enjoy fixing them just as much as driving them. Old Jag put me onto a BMW X5 project that has been purchased and is due next week so time to start thinking about selling this. There is a heap of detail in the build thread but the previous owner had run it low on oil and it spun a big end bearing. It was still drivable but certainly needed some TLC.

Rough estimate there is over $4500 in modifications to make it a go and handle the way that it should have from the factory.

Rather than play wrecker roulette this has a brand new crate motor from Ford in there to replace the old one It has just click over 800km since it was fitted. I still have the old motor sitting there complete that can go with the car if you want something to use as a base for a high hp motor in the future.
Along with the motor a new clutch and turbo were fitted to ensure that everything was 100% as a base to start from.

It is running a Peron stage 2 pro tune about 235hp up from the standard 180 (about $980) from the UK and has the dongle. This upgrade has increased boot pressures of up to 23psi with a small amount of advancement to the ignition timing. Stage 2 Pro will also has a hard cut limiter and enabled left foot braking.

To get the power down when I had the engine out I also had an MFactory Torsen LSD installed along with new carrier bearings, shaft seals and fresh Mainlube oil from OEM Denied in QLD. Parts alone were around $1500.
    RSport stage 2 intercooler. ($500)
    RSport De-Cat Downpipe ($350)
RSport intake to the turbo ($180)
R-Sport Large Bore Cross Over Pipe ($200)
    GFB diverter valve ($150)
Turbosmart BOV Kompact Shortie (not fitted $250)
Puma Speed Rear Motor Mount ($250)
    Puma Speed quick shift ($100)
Resonator delete on the exhaust as well as a bolt on high flow rear muffler (Standard rear included) If I get around to it I will make a proper 2.5" system for it.
    Eibach Lowered springs ($400)
17” aftermarket alloys with brand new RE003’s less than 1500km
Not to mention the MCM signed engine cover...

The previous owner did do some damage to the front bar, so it has very stylish zip ties holding it together. I have located another front bar for $200 in Melbourne but it is white so would require painting. Or you could just leave it the way that it is and drive it.
For a car that only has 76,000km on the body and less than 1000km on the running gear with $4500+ of extras I think that the asking price of $15,500 represents great value as freight and labour costs for the mods fitted to date would easily add another $1500-2000.

Thought I would pop it up here for a week before listing on the socials and Gumtree. I will get some photos when the weather clears here in Canberra and I can give it a wash but here are a few in the build thread.

    Cheers
    Paul

Try boosters fb group. I have no idea about them but this is their thing.

This is obviously assuming all your AUX outputs are doing something. Ie idle control, and the other does water spray, and the other updates your Instagram automatically etc.

Maybe I should have done italics on the $5k given that is the standard PF low-ball.

As for the X5 no big stuff though if it has the beige interior then there is probably a couple of little trim pieces.

Turns out, far too much has been written about great men and not nearly enough about morons
