Datsun 1600 Group 3J – Improved Production log booked race car
No engine or gearbox.
NSW race winner, top 5 finisher in NSW under 2L state series for last 4 years, 2nd in NSW series in 2002 and 2004
This car can be used for Improved Production Racing and has CAMS log book or could also be used for Hill Climb or Sprint events
As raced in 2005 series other than the engine and gearbox. All you need to race this car is an engine (& ancillaries) plus a gearbox and tail shaft. SR20 engine and gearbox mounts are included.
Alloy radiator and pipes/hoses to suit SR20, Oil cooler mounted behind grill
Seam welded shell - small amount of rust in rear quarters, otherwise fairly rust free, some battle scars from racing on passenger door and left rear as per photos. All sound deadening removed, Alloy roll cage, battery and battery box and cables included, mounted in place of passenger seat.
Completely re-wired.
Fibreglass front spoiler with under tray and brake ducts, custom rear spoiler.
Custom flared guards (with moulds for front).
Bosch EFI fuel pump , lightweight foam filled race fuel tank and surge tank, fuel lines to engine bay, EFI pressure regulator.
Oil lines through car for dry sump (can be removed)
3 inch exhaust system (from extractor exit to rear)
Gauges (Mostly VDO )- Oil pressure, oil & water temp, fuel pressure, volts, 3 inch Tacho, autometer fuel pressure isolator
Sparco race seat, 6 point harness, window net, fire extinguisher
Koni adjustable shocks all round re-valved to suit current springs
2 sets front springs and 2 sets rear springs
Adjustable rear sway bar, 2 x adjustable front sway bars
Engine cross member modified as per race regulations to fit SR20 engine & to provide camber
Custom adjustable strut tops to provide camber and castor.
Adjustable height front spring platforms
2 sets 14 x 7 wheels with 6 useable A032R race tyres
Brakes Dual circuit balance bar system (twin master cylinders) Ventilated front rotors with 4 spot callipers (+ spare disks), solid rear disks. Competition pads all round, brand new pads at rear.
Remote reservoir clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder.
Nissan R180 LSD diff 4.6 ratio ( Diff alone is worth $1500)
Spare doors, boot lid and some spare parts for steering and suspension included.
