fark I can't believe I missed this one, great work muz!
As others have said, the only prick with Toyotas are the stupid fuel pump control methods. Mind you I've never done an auto conversion so I'm not sure how much more of a prick that would be however 1J and 2J's are a piece of cake to wire up
I recall a couple of years ago doing my first 1J and couldn't figure out why the relay was a double coil single contact type, one coil goes to the ignition switch start position (so active 12v) and the other coil had 12v on it from an ignition source and was earthed within the ECU (so active gnd). At least Nissan can do things properly and only use one relay and only one ECU trigger to the relay!
I use two relays to do the job of the Toyota one which I didn't have access to for the conversions I've wired up. As someone already said, dont bodge the fuel pump by hardwiring it to a constant source of ignition power, not just in case the engineer picks it, but because its bloody dangerous in the event of an acco....
