VE shitter keeps popping headlight globes

In the last 12 months, I have had to replace the LH headlight globe
It would be more if I replaced it as soon as it blows but it's a bit of a cunt to get to.

Is this a common problem with VE Commodores?
I know not to put fingers on the globe and I wipe it down with a clean cloth before installing it but it only lasts about a month before it goes.

    Thoughts?

Check the main plug into the headlight housing, as well as the terminals at the globe itself.

Might have to extract the whole headlight though.

Check for water and moisture marks. When you wash the car, use the hose and get into and around the headlight housing. Look for condensation and if it's there, clear the little rubber or plastic breather into the headlight housing.

I got bagged on the Commodore fourms for suggesting what the issue was with the wiring on them.

It's mostly Daewoo hardware and wiring architecture in them. What could possibly go wrong?
