    Battery bus bar

Need to make an extension for a terminal on my circuit breaker as the terminal is too short to add the required wires. Can I just make it out of steel or do I have to source some brass/copper? It’s only going to be around an inch long.

Long term or short term? If it's temporary use whatever...but anything you want to stay, I'd use brass or copper.

What size will the bracket be?

I'd use aluminium if I didn't have copper.

Thanks guys, I’ve ordered some 6mm thick brass strap off ebay. Only needs to be 1 inch x 2 inches

I have some smaller stuff here too if you need more. Happy to throw a bit in an airbag if you get stuck.
