    NCOP certifying engineer recommendation, Sydney

The guy who did Big Red Car (Steven Janda) is no longer playing the engine-conversion game ... so looking for engine-swap certifying engineer (under NCOP) recommendations.

I'd like to talk to them about possibilities first (eg. manual-gearbox shell will probably need a custom trans-tunnel so need to ask if that's still legal), in the end it may be easier just to build a "Mexico replica" and not need an engineer.

Preference would be middle-ish-north-west Sydney (around Ryde, Epping, Artarmon, Gladesville etc), but "knowledgeable" is probably better than "really close".
Soft roaders represent an excellent compromise between the needs of the hardcore 4x4 user and the convenience of a city hatchback. Its clear to see why they have become so popular in todays society.

Are you still around in Denistone? I'm in Asquith and looking to get a project running in the next 12 months.

Stitch one of these in and pretend it's always been an auto shell?

"Where can we get hold of a Vincent Black Shadow?" "Whats that?" "A fantastic bike," I said. "The new model is something like two thousand cubic inches, developing two hundred brake-horsepower at four thousand revolutions per minute on a magnesium frame with two styrofoam seats and a total curb weight of exactly two hundred pounds."

You know it involves a car project? Most people will ask the same question at the start and still wouldn't need the answer for several years.
