    JZZ30 VVTI wiring diagram

    have found loads of info for non vvti, but does anyone have a lead on a wiring diagram for a jzz30 vvti?

    Have you got a copy of the "Soarer Bible"? It's a collection of all the Japanese language tech documents, with various bits translated into English (or in the case of the wiring diagrams, and Engish index). There are wiring diagrams showing the VVT solenoids in there.

    You should be able to find it online but if not, let me know and I'll upload it for you somewhere.

      I don't have a wiring diagram, but I do have a functional VVTi Soarer if you want me to investigate anything or take photos or whatever.

          Unfortunately wilbo hasn't uploaded any 1j vvti stuff. I read somewhere 2j vvti ecu is pretty much the same? can anyone confirm?

          Norbie, I appreciate the reply, but unfortunately without having the cars next to eachother it might be a big dick around to try and figure it out going back and forth.

            I got my Century service manual from that site, it's brilliant, the amount of detail is amazing (including all wiring diagrams). You could maybe find a "free" version somewhere else but I haven't come across one that recent.

              I have 1JZ VVTi items but they are all in Japanese, related to X chassis and you need to find it.

                  Ended up with an elite 2500.

                  After further digging, it was apparent that the dbw throttle body needed to remain for the a340 control to function correctly.

                  Easiest way forward was to buy a haltech, utilise their a340 control and switch to a non vvti intake manifold/throttle body.

                  Thanks to everyone that helped though, i appreciate it.
