Yea it's 40 bucks from memory to licence it for all the advanced functions. Basic log viewing is freeware.
something like Magnetti Marelli's WinTax 4 or Motec I2 or GEMS is a bit nicer to use and has more features but licences are WAAAAAY more than 40 bucks, and most are locked to logs from their respective hardware, they don't do CSV file imports. they're more suited to telemetry type data with track position etc, lap splits and overlays... this megalogviwer is perfect for tuning though and takes any CSV and names the channels by the names in the first line of the CSV file.
You could do most of it in excel, but this is much easier to do most things and layout and UI is nice.
Fark doing it in MATLAB. I'd only be using that for really serious stuff like knock spectum analysis and 3+ variable correlation equations. but you'd need high speed ADC data to bother with a lot of that.Oo___oO

Yeah i think i prefered the rach technology software for chassis/mapping vs motec, as an engine analysis tool the licenced features look like good value for money. You could spend hours in excel and longer in Matlab trying to do stuff, you would want to be very keen on specific functionality

Don't know where you got that figure from, it's 39 USD on their website.

Hey Jason,
I just put turbo back 3" system on the xr5 Focus with catalytic converter delete pipe. The original set up had 02 sensor at the dump and also a cat temp sensor which is now screwed into the delete pipe. It logs a code for the cat sensor and a few crew have used 90 deg sensor spacers to move it out of the gas stream.
