Anyone able to and willing to print up a couple of speaker spacers for me?

184mm OD, 145mm ID and 10mm thick. I'd like three of them (I need two, but want a spare) and for them to just be all black.

Hopefully they could be fairly neat and even as the edge of them will be seen.

Happy to flick the willing person some cash for their time and effort and also postage.

Just shoot me a PM if you are keen.

finally had a go at 3d modeling with Autodesk inventor, took a bit to figure it out but I got there in the end

Caliper adapter for 330mm rotors and c6 Corvette calipers on TE Cortina stubs, worked out perfect
So now i'll have them made in steel

OK - So I've got the RAMPS board, hooked it up, installed Repetier and I get:
              - no display on the screen,
              - no temp reading for the bed, and
              - the end stop on the Z axis doesn't seem to work

I assume this is just normal when you first plug things up?

Many times, invented new expletives as well because my personal repertoire was well and truly exhausted (I hate open source stuff the documentation is always either out of date or written in Hebrew).

I *think* I might have got it sorted, just trying a test print now...

Well I'm out of ideas then.

My Geeetech i3 just needed the latest marlin firmware to fix the x and y axis being inverted, prints pretty good now.

Turned out to be a combination of a couple of crossed temp sensors and some settings which were documented in one place, but not others and some other things which strangely appear to have fixed themselves.

It still needs a bit of calibration, but it does print. I'll claim this as a success...

Bloody hell 3M 468 adhesive is a pain to get off. Ended up needing soaking in isopropyl alcohol and copious razor blade/paint scraper action.

Yeah, I'm converting mine to a glass bed just because I can't face removing that stuff again...

Yeah, im still sticking with the PEI, its so damn good. Plus only having to change it every 12 months isnt terrible. At least i know what im in for now though...

I have heard that scraping it off when frozen for the first layers really helps. As does a freezer bag over the lot to keep the fumes in.... oh and probably a fume extraction fan.

                              Big-ish but still do-able?
