3 to 5 watts would do it, you may have to do more than one pass but that's relatively easy to set up. Those cheap kits won't run fast either, they really go wonky if you try to speed them up.Originally posted by GSRman View Post“Buy the ticket, take the ride.’”

Upgraded to a Prusa i3 mk3, my velleman k8200 has served me well, if anyone in sydney is keen on a cheap printer it still works well. Setup for ABS most of the time but have done wood filament and PLA as well. Has an upgraded extruder, belts and hot end. Prints 200mm3Comment

Finally picked up my vellerman k8200 from Marty who generously gave me an hour of training. Got it home and doing my first prints now. So cool, I'm amazed at the resolution and how nicely it works.

A couple of false starts but got a waterslide earthing lug printed ready to test, really good to be able to test a design without the expense of getting my laser cutting guy involved.
