For those of you with 3D printers, how do you clamp down the 2.5mm toothed belt for the drive axis?
Im after something similar to use for my slider dolly which currently just has the belts clamped under some alu plate.Chris

If it's metal, then there's really only 2 ways you could do it ... LASER sintering or 3D print a sand-cast mould. As Tronrud Engineering has a 3D LASER sintering printer, then I guess the method used is rather obvious.Originally posted by oioioioioi View PostLaser sintering?James

This shit is amazing.
Bill, you should prototype an 18RG oil pump. The kids would go nuts for it!
I am trying to think of a use for this, myself. I have one but it is well outside your dimensions so would need to be a split & join arrangement.Originally posted by 350stato100% agree with Shifty

I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure that 18RG's already come with an oil pump.Originally posted by Shifty View PostThis shit is amazing.

this guy is onto something
TRD/HKS varients of the 18RG ran a special 35mm (25mm 18R-C 30mm 18R-G) oil pump assembly thats as RARE as an unmolested alter boy, ive been looking into making a copy from two R pumps (someone on toymods done it). what are the wear and heat factors for the plastics used in the printer is there an MSDA type thingy for it.Originally posted by zammoI'm the retard with the cockroach in my ear.
