Cool!
I was at Supernova on the Gold Coast last weekend and there was a booth there where they 3D scanned you, same thing as you've done there. $10 for the scan where they print it out or $40 to sell you the file.
Also, the new print head for the Flashforge has arrived so I'll try to fit it in the next few days.
Pulled out all of the Reprap bits from around the garage today and thought i may as well assemble it:
Ordered most of the bits i need still, and its all little things. The biggest one is the 5mm Z axis screws, but they are relatively easy to come by.

I watched an interesting doco the other night called Print the legend. It follows the story of MakerBot and Formlabs from how they stated trying to be the first people making 3D desktop printers a reality through to today.
I was getting Bill to print a few things for me for my work.
turns out it was impossible for my work to Invoice Bill directly as he was a mate blah blah blah...
so after getting burnt on it all (I paid Bill personally but could not be re-reimbursed) I spoke with the purchasing dept and said I will buy a printer and set up a company in my missus' name and supply..
good idea they said so I went and purchased a printer......
printed some parts but was told conflict of interest ( my missus) so cannot buy them....
Found a company here to do the parts for 10x the price of me and Bill...... 3 purchase orders later (of 400 parts in total) work decides that its too exxy so are in the final stages to buy a $300,000 USD printer to bring the printing in house as the part price will be cheaper........
Also who on here ran the 3D printing supplies place? Benny? Tapatalk search is terrible.
