My order arrived today for the Amron oval tube.

The tube looks quite nice, seems specifically made. The transitions are just 4" round tube pressed into the shape of an oval at one end so fitment isn't very good.

      I will post pictures tomorrow.

        Not with Overseas directors etc.

And yes, CP1 grade for tubing, CP2 for anything machined (flanges, vbands etc)

Update after using the oval offered by Amron...

This is the round to oval transition, pretty ordinary. I had to tack a v-band flange on one end as I was worried the round part wouldn't stay round when I pressed it down in a vice.

Next is the actual oval itself, after welding with it I found that two parts of the tube had a recess, no doubt from when it was formed from round to oval. This became a bit of an issue when doing some pie cuts around my subframe in the BMW.

One thing I noticed is that when welding part of the flat area would begin to curve up so had to work quick with adding some tacks.

This is how I used it.

As mentioned, I paid $420 for 3 x 1 metre lengths and 2 of the transitions. After working with it I was pretty disappointed, I wouldn't recommend this particular brand to anyone unless you want to put in the extra effort to make it work.

Fuck sorry to hear. I feel like a cunt now for suggesting it.

I didn't get a chance to use it on my Ute over the diff before I sold it

It's all good, no need to feel like that.

I saw what other brands had to offer and it was the easiest one to get at a comparable price. Some don't offer the transitions either. It would be interesting to see the Vibrant stuff in person to compare the two brands.

If anything, it serves as a heads up on what to expect if someone else buys it as their social media doesn't focus on the finer details of the product, only the end result with it all welded up.

                Anyway, job done.

We plan on making some short full info videos on these products to show the difference between ours & the competition.
