My mate is tuning one of these setups this week or next week for the DNA guys so I'll be able to let you know how it goes. Its an LS1 so will be able to compare it directly against a Harrop Eaton blower kit that he has done a few of on the same type of engine.Originally posted by Ustasa View PostBlackbart. There are pics coming very soon of Procharger installs DNA Motorsport have done on small block and big block chev's and Holden 308's.
CNC machined timing cases, brackets, gilmer drives you name it. Your jaw would drop if you saw the effort put into the jobs, particularly the designs. 2 of the cars will hit the strip soon and are definitely not show ponies. I'll ask them tonight if I can give out details on which workshops they are doing the work for as some of the shops/owners are not keen on giving out too much info.

to tell the real story, would need comparison at 2,000, 3,000, 4,000 and 5,000rpm etc up to max rpm, not just peak hp numberOriginally posted by Grumpy Rooster View PostMy mate is tuning one of these setups this week or next week for the DNA guys so I'll be able to let you know how it goes. what you are actually looking for is the maximum area under the curve for a given rev limit, that will tell you what the most 'useful' engine is, given the max RPM specified.Originally posted by morerevsm3 View Postto tell the real story, would need comparison at 2,000, 3,000, 4,000 and 5,000rpm etc up to max rpm, not just peak hp numberOriginally posted by Turbo YodaI <3 Hamster

I think for less than 8k, you could have yourself a shit hot blow through turbo setup including fuel system, like
MP GT45
Air to Air cooler - ebay cheapie in keeping with the theme
EV Hat
PSU Carb (this might blow the budget, you could save some $$$ and buy a demon)
Aeromotive fuel system (A1000 and appropriate efi to carb reg)
Ebay some manifolds from the states
DIY Cooler piping
Ebay 50mm Tial knock off wastegate
Ebay Tial knock off BOV
That should total out somewhere around 5000 depending on the bits you choose and how much you can do yourself, spend the rest on getting a tough turbo 400 and converter
That should give you plenty of fasts for the tonner.Originally posted by Turbo YodaI <3 Hamster

The 850dp I have on it can be modded for not much (intructions on turbostang site).
The box in it (once fixed) should do the job anyway. Its full man, trans brake, kevlar this and that. Thats if they can make it work the second time.
