So basically you like the PFC for it's nice base map, or the fact it plugs into the loom, or a combination of all 3?

Have an EMS Stinger on the old race car - has been flawless for 3 years now - highly recommended for simple, NA motors - 1995 MX5 BP engine

New race car is Haltech E8 with wideband control. Price is good and Haltech are working on it with me so support is excellent so far - 2004 MX5 Factory Turbo SE

              Needs to be multi choice.

              MoTec, Delco 808 (Factory), Microtech.

Saving to buy an Autronic for one of my cars atm.

Probably, but i'm trying to keep to a formula that works across all forum configs.

Orlando: I used to have a wolf 3d V4. In simple terms it sucked for my application. Before anyone says anything, yes it was tuned by the wolf dealer. As somebody's sig says "starts 3rd time every time" if you were lucky. Idle was pretty average. Never got the ISCV functioning even though it was a simple 2 valve unit. Didn't function well with my 1jz.

Then got microtech. Based on people's race results, the fact that a lot of people were using them on my engine, the simplicity of tuning (as I like to do it myself) and 6 igntion drivers. It was at a pretty good price too.

i'm running an autronic smc on my sigma.

no complaints so far, and the tech support from ray hall is fantastic!

Motec, for the same reasons I wrote about at Toymods.

remapped standard ECU currently, that choice was made because it was cheap and i wanted to learn how to tune a car on my own.

Next car will have an autronic, as it will be slightly more mental and what i've seen of autronic's in action thus far has impressed me.
