Microtech X4 ignition module dies in nasty smelling smoldering heap!
Earth to the block or the car body only, assuming there are at least two big block to body cable earths already. The number of problems that arise through poor earths.....................
Hell no i'm not that stupid its not a rotary, its got a Adaptronic. I think my earth must of been dodgy, should of been to the block of the car. Now just trying to find a x4 this week is going to be hard been ringing around trying to find one in qld but not having much luck
Looks like its a common thing from other forums. Looks like a few spliced grounds might be needed just to make sure, one the block and one to the body.
Better to be safe than sorry

Ok, dumb question time.
On the Nissan KA24E, there are 2 factory grounds just behind the plenum on the aluminium intake manifold (for i assume the injectors).
There is a large ground strap going from the aluminium head on the exhaust port side to the body & battery.
Should i change this so the 2 factory grounds are going directly to the block or body, and ground to the block directly with the main ground cable?
