      Mine's done that twice .. different problems both times. The first was a dead in-tank pump, the second was a dead fuel-reg.

      If it's your pump that's dead, these guys guarantee genuine, are pretty cheap and have excellent service - http://www.injectorsonline.com/ . I've bought two pumps off them now, both delivered to Sydney the next day.

        44's are just fucking loud, no matter how they are mounted or where in the car they are located.

          whats the best way of checking which pump is causing the problem??

            disconnect the high pressure external pump electrically and feed the low pressure in tank pump outlet hose from tank into a bucket and bridge fuel pump relay and check flow of internal pump, if its a low pressure pump then is fine to check it this way with no restriction, but high pressure efi pumps really need to be pumping against pressure and flow measured at the same time to get a real flow result.
