    The Bosch "910" should not be classesd the same as 984/975. The 910 only gives flow rating of about 188lph compared to a 984 that does 220lph at the same pressure. The price of 910 is probably half as much as the 984.

    I believe the 044 belongs to the in tank category but just about the same as 984 which is a external in line pump.

      A lot of people say a pump flows this , and another flows this much , without actually seeing with their own eyes what they do . BOSCH have different part numbers to suit different applications in domestic as well as overseas markets , beleive me I have trialed them all on a flow bench and they all are within 3-5% of each other . 044 are motorsports EXTERNAL pumps with screw fittings on each end , and they are genuine because our fj20 powered drag car has them fitted and is making 900+ hp at 70psi rail pressure and the fuel system is getting close if not on its limit with 4 rochester 989 injectors .
      Boost is a Drug and im a dealer.

        thing is, my pumps the stock r31 RB30E unit. will this be able to handle fuel requirments of a VG30DET turbo and 13psi?

        also can i fasion up a custom plenum without having to modify the comp? ie reattach everything except overboost valve and have forward facing throttlebody? i really hate the idea of the intake air going over the turbo/exhaust after getting cooled by the intercooler....
        ive got family in the fabrication business so the construction wont be a problem. should i upgrade the throttle body while im at it?
        budget is 1500 for turbo and intake plus some if i need to get a new fuel pump.
        intercooler i can get made for 400, so 1100 for plenum materials and turbo.
        should i go VG30DET or T3/T4 combo

        what you think?

          a custom plenum wont effect the factory computer
          i have seen a few rb20's with VG30 turbos running on th stock pump successfully.
          Id go the T3/T4 combo, as it doesnt have the ceramic exhaust wheel like the VG30 does
          This will allow you to run higher boost safely

            where would you suggest to go for a t3/4 turbo? who in adelaide could i talk to about the t3/4 and what is actually done to make the hybrid? is the t4 compressor housing attached and the wheels changed?

              A T3/T4 hybrid is usually a T3 exhaust housing with a T4 compressor cover
              There are many different exhaust and compressor wheels that can be profiled into the housings.

                was your customers car running the standard turbo??? as thats not alot of power for the ammount of boost???

                i was told i could get 160RwKW with just a exhust upgrade (3') and a air filter is this true???


                i want to run a VG30 turbo eventualy for a bit mroe grunt and a custom plenium with a 300zx throttle body how much power will i get out of that bowth with 7 psi and with more

                will a 300zx throttle body plug into the RB20DET wireing loom

                this is gin in a torana BTW way with a resnable size inter cooler 180*900*60
                RB20DET UC Torana

                Get it to wheel spin uncontrollably then give it another 5 pounds boost
