I had an o2 sensor on there before - but Dale said its useless cause its narrowband (i was new to all this back then) - so I fucked it off with the new exhaust etc... The microtech used to show AFR's - in narrowband though.

Im pretty sure it should accept this ok, and failing that, as a tune only thing it should be ok... Still good.

In fact, do I recall dale selling these on here somewhere?

fark that's the easy way out, i had to build some of mine, big job but worth the savings, they may be cheaper now pre-assembled anyway.

i got mine from my wholsaler in the US for $218 posted.

run the narrow input to teh ECU and the wideband to the gauge.

i had it wired to the +12v on my ECU, but engine started cutting out randomly.

realised that the current draw was too high and found another 12v switched and has been fine since...

I just bought one of these as well with a chip + programmer to tune the AU yoot.

It works out to be $380 for the wideband including a display.

Zeitronix also make a good piece of kit, they are all pretty much equal now days.

I always find it funny to run them against other dyno o2 sensors. The are all almost spot on.

I would trust my techedge before i trusted a dyno o2 sensor that most likely has a million hours of use on it and hasn't been replaced, besides if you mount it pre-cat it's going to be way better for tuning in that location.

I compair tail sniffer to tail sniffer, and have also compared tailsniffer to dump pipe and its all so similar its not an issue.

your so wrong there is it not funny...
i dont trust any cheap widebands... seen way too many of them be more than a few points out... they are good for referance but anyone who tunes a car with them is playing with fire.. espically PLX and innovate..

most good dyno shops will change the sensor when it needs it., the good quality meters tell you when there is something wrong, ie the heater is fucked or you can tell straight up when they read lean..

back when i started messing about with the techedge lsu sensors most dynos were still using the crappy (in comparison, unless you want to tune leaded fuels) lsm11 sensors. i would hope most dyno operators have the later sensor type now days, but that was a few years back.
