or as Turbo351 said LS1 if youre not concerned about keeping it all-Toyota

Seeing how tight these two options are in the engine bay can you even fit a JZ?

Why would you want to? When you can fit an all alloy 3.5L V6 with decent power for a car like the sprinter standard that actually weighs less than a supercharged/turbocharged 4AG, I have no idea why you'd want to put a 2JZ in one unless you wanted to build a drag car.

^ well yeah that was the point, seeing how tight it is for an engine 4 cylinders long i was doubting you'd get an inline 6 in without major work, and for little/no benefit compared to other options

Looks like it might need a Ford Boss style bonnet though haha.

how about a 1mz ? the job done on the celica could be replicated here. it probably wouldn't fuck your handling too bad either.

Josh had a set of ITB's on that engine from NZ along with an adaptronic, it put out 200kw atw. He's since scrapped the turbo 1uz coupe project.

I'd also like to see a 2grfe done properly.

Ah yeh my bad, forgot about the ITB's. Still, it was basically stock, no big cams, no high compression build etc.

Just for the record, the one we are talking about is the red one in the video at the top of the page.

Engine mite cost a bit more, but its strong, fuck easy to get power out of and cheap to rebuild.
