nah I got no garage. Uncle, however, has a garage
Turns out, far too much has been written about great men and not nearly enough about morons

yep most seem to have a common chamber, makes the sound smoother or something, although from memory the 996 has the banks separate - will check.Originally posted by Fraud View PostI'm wondering if the exhaust exits are specifically put on the same side as the inlet for that bank for some kind of resonance/harmonic reason?
or if it is as clutch monkey shows, a relatively common chamber, this may be in lieu of a crossover pipe?Originally posted by Walt KowalskiMemes are only detectable by NSA.

$3,000 isn't THAT bad, Off the shelf system for a dunnydore is similar for good stuff.Originally posted by Uncle View Post~3k for a nice system Muz.
Jim, I've even parked my car ready for attack of the lobsters!
That said, there's about 4x the material in a Commodore system.Originally posted by oioioioioiI've never said or implied everyone on that page was a deadshit - just that there's a concentration of deadshits there. Think of it like a mine, but instead of a rich vein of gold bearing quartz, it's a rich vein of spastic bearing facebook posts.Originally posted by SketchyAny peanut who thinks they could have done it better from the comfort of their armchair or work desk is a genuine mong level potato.

If it's anything like the Ferrari system I welded back together after the multi thousand dollar piece of junk collapsed internally, there's 3 chambers (for each bank), perforated tube and walls in the first two (guessing originally packed with fibreglass), the final wall, solid but with a balance tube and the outlets starting at the first wall......no U pipe snaking in and out. Muffler did have multi-layer construction, SS on the outside either for heat or to make you think, you weren't getting bent over so much.

Slice the original muffler in half and use it to copy and make up a new one? (or get Uncle to do it)
It shouldn't be to hard getting the shit that's packed inside it?/ --------------- \
