no beacuse it knows the flow isnt right and throws codes.. tried it already..

Some times you can just get away with drilling a small hole through the block off plate and it stops the codes with some vehicles.

the colorado dosent need a plate, just needs 2 vaccum lines removed and its bypassed,

This is relevant to my interests too...I have the EGR blocked on my GU Patrol and currently use a ScanGuage to clear the code over month or so.

Cant take the thing into Nissan for anything as I'm worried it'll throw a code in there and void the warranty.

mx_paul: doesn't look good. I was expecting at least a PIC microcontroller in there somewhere. I can see the bluetooth chip + aerial but not much else.. Maybe it's all integrated...

I just bought "scangaugeII" that will do this for you but not solve your problem,


Put a blanking plate in egr valve drill 6-10 mm hole in plate,to allow some flow, fault goes away.........
or plumb around egr from cooler alltogether to trick sensor, solve the shit eating for your poor deisel,Im doing the same to my hilux soon.

when are you going to fit a real turbo to my hilux?????

Yep that's the chip I was looking for. Hopefully there's a jtag there so I can flash it in circuit (don't like my chances)
